As part of MGA’s ongoing efforts to support organic/transitioning grain growers, we are now hosting office hour sessions with experts on all sides of the regional grain economy.
Tom Molloy is a Research Professional in Sustainable Ag at the UMaine and a small grain and pulse specialist for Cooperative Extension. Tom will present on the basics of organic grain production including fertility, crop selection, rotations, planting and harvesting fundamentals, weed control and post-harvest handling.
This event is made possible with support from the USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program.
