This event is hosted by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.

Join us for an evening of learning about urban soils and strategies for safely growing food in Portland! There will be hands-on activities to demonstrate soil health best practices and resources for testing soils in your farm or garden. Featuring University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Cultivating Community, Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District, Fresh Food Gardens, American Farmland Trust and the City of Portland Sustainability Office.
