DESCRIPTION:As part of MGA’s ongoing efforts to support organic/transitioning grain growers\, we are now hosting office hour sessions with experts on all sides of the regional grain economy. \nDeborah (“Deb”) Neher is a soil ecologist and professor emerita at University of Vermont. She gained formal education in plant pathology\, plant population ecology\, and environmental science. Her experience as a researcher\, educator\, and graduate student mentor spans 35+ years. \nThis event is made possible with support from the USDA Transition to Organic Partnership Program. \nFree.
