DESCRIPTION:*Free for Journeyperson program participants and BIPOC (Black\, Indigenous\, People of Color). Scholarship application for anyone interested is available here. This workshop is an introduction to the practices involved in growing nursery stock\, like apple and other fruit seedling trees. The focus will be on bud grafting\, which involves grafting a growth bud onto rootstock in late summer. North Branch Farm nursery manager Seth Yentes will offer both general guidance and hands-on grafting experience.
