Climate change has noticeable impacts on gardeners\, from more extreme weather events\, to the increased presence of ticks and other pests. Climate change also has many gardeners looking for ways to support their local ecosystem through garden design.  In this three-part webinar series\, Dr. Annie White will provide some concrete strategies for climate-smart garden design\, on a whole landscape level. She is also a Senior Lecturer of Agroecology and Landscape Design at the University of Vermont where she teaches courses in sustainable landscape design\, ecological planning\, and home vegetable growing. Annie earned an MS in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin—Madison and a PhD in Plant & Soil Science from The University of Vermont. She is passionate about designing climate-smart landscapes at all scales—from rural farms to urban backyards. Registration info: Registrants will have access to all three webinars in this series.
